One week untill Japan!
Well, there is one week before I head back to Japan again. This time round I'm hoping to do more Snowboarding. Previously I went to Hakuba Happo One. It was a lot of fun but end of season. This time round heading to Niseko, right in the middle of season. Hoping to do something similar to this:

Bender vs Cloud
Not every day you get to see a wild makeshift Bender attack Cloud Strife out in the wild. I happened to see this and capture footage for the world to see.

The Prototype Game
Ok, here is the deal.
Over the past few years, I have worked on a number of mods, games and "concepts". Yet I haven't seen one of them try to implement new game play elements. Most games now are dull boring rip offs of previous games.
The games that are still being played have been around for some time now (Warcraft III, Counter-Strike, even World of Warcraft). There hasn't been a game that has brought new features and concepts to the table and actually be fun for a while. Most games try too hard to focus on graphics and story than the actual gameplay itself.
That is why, this project is aimed around creating new gameplay concepts and rapid prototyping them. At this stage, the initial plan is to create 10 fun games. Nothing more than rough rapid prototypes. The idea is to get a basic operating game that is actually fun.
Then once this is done, the prototypes that are considered fun and work together well will create the initial starting point for a real game. Around that basic game, the visual style and the story will be built. Esentially creating a game the old fashioned way, where the gameplay is the core focus, and the story is developed as an after thought.
I hope to update this website weekly with as much information as possible about the progress. However not much will happen initially, it should pick up momentum.
As a side note, I have worked on a project called "Base Jump" it was a concept I came up with and was developed by myself and two friends. It was built upon Battlefield 2. The concept was similar to AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, where a player falls through the sky and needs to reach the bottom successfully.
Where our prototype differed was once the player landed on the ground, it was their goal to prevent other players from landing. The concept was simple, we were skeptical that the idea would be fun. However we proved ourselves wrong. It was a great deal of fun and only took a single afternoon to make.
Below are some screenshots of the Base Jump prototype. Unfortunately, I no longer have the levels or the gameplay video. However if I do find them, I will upload them.

Single Player Game Online
It’s an idea that I’ve have been thinking about for a while. To give a basic overview, it is a massively multiplayer online single player game where there are no npc’s real people play the enemies as they try to achive there objectives as you try to achive yours. It would make games more intense and difficult since people these days complain about video games being to easy.
How it works:
Training mode - When you would first create your player or profile. You would be sent into training where people or npc’s would dedicate there time to helping people start out and learn how to use the controllers and special moves etc. Of course characters that would help out would be rewarded with bonus cash to help them along the game.
Single Player Online - This is the main component. Now that broadband is at our homes dial-up and traditional singleplayer games are so old school. It’s time to take it to the next level. Here’s how it works,
Multiplayer Online - This slightly differs from single player online, in this you will be able to communicate with other players and play deathmatch games etc (just a good time basicly).
Their would be at least two sides which eventually you would need to play as both to complete the game.
Cinematics - How would cinematics work? Well because of the havoc going on, then would not be able to be rendered in real time like World of Warcrafts intro scene. They would all be pre rendered which looks so much better anyway.
